Pacific Engineering Projects (PEP) is a New Zealand based engineering and construction company, which has successfully established itself as one of the premier end-to-end engineering service providers in the Pacific region. PEP works across the Pacific with one of the widest geographic reaches (delivering projects in both South and North Pacific). Most of PEP’s projects are delivered on the design and build model.

PEP aligns local knowledge with its international expertise to address the needs of its client base. Since inception, PEP has and continues to contribute significantly to the development of infrastructure projects of national significance across several sectors and in several countries.

Its services range from construction only to full design & construction (and in some circumstances, ongoing asset operation). Recent projects

Pacific Engineering Projects Ltd (PEP) has been an integral part of building, refurbishing, upgrading and engineering works for asset owners, utilities and infrastructure throughout the Pacific. PEP personnel with centuries of collective experience have the capability to engineer and deliver the most appropriate solutions for the Customer. We successfully completed many such projects and are proud to share some of our recent projects here. Some of our Recent Projects:-

Savusavu Water Treatment Plant (WTP) Building and Electrical Works:-

CUSTOMER - Water Authority of Fiji (WAF)
LOCATION - Savusavu, Fiji
SCOPE - The work included the design, supply and installation of all the electrical power & lighting works for the WTP. The specific tasks include:

  • Supply, install and commission the MV mains cables from Electricity Fiji Limited (EFL) pole to main switchboard.
  • Supply, install, test and commission power to all the key electrical field devices.
  • Design, factory acceptance testing (FAT), supply, install, test and commission the main switchboard.
  • Design, supply and installation of lighting (energy saving LED lights) for the complete plant.
  • Design and construct the main switchboard building.
  • Supply and install solar powered yard and street lighting - all the yard and street light poles used renewable materials only.

The installation was such that a standby generator power supply could be retrofitted. Our customer was pleased with our efforts and had this to say “Thanks for the good Job done in Savusavu”. This job was completed months ahead of schedule so the people of Savusavu could enjoy the benefits of WAF’s new investment in the WTP.

The WTP was inaugurated by the Prime Minister of Fiji.

Waiwai Water Treatment Plant (WTP) Electrical Works:-

CUSTOMER - Water Authority of Fiji (WAF)
LOCATION - Waiwai, Ba, Fiji
SCOPE - The work included the design, supply and installation of all the electrical power and lighting works for the WTP. The specific tasks include:

4500m3 Bulk Petroleum Storage Tank for ExxonMobil:-

CUSTOMER - Mobil Oil Mariana Islands, Inc
LOCATION - Saipan, Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI)
SCOPE - This project was a design and construction of a bulk fuel storage tank (swing tank which would be able to store all products available at the terminal). PEP designed the tank to API650 and ExxonMobil standards including independent certification by a US Professional Engineer (PEng) and CNMI registered structural engineer.

PEP supplied the pre fabricated tank kit set, onsite fabrication, installation and testing of the tank. The scope also included the blasting and painting works, hydrotesting and installation of nozzles and associated piping. Tank capacity 4500m3.
